Mother's Day

Josh made me chocolate croissants (my favorite) and I was very impressed! They were delicious.

After church we went to North for a yummy lunch. We walked around a little bit then Josh took Timmy to the park so I could relax at home. They bought me a spa gift certificate so I get more relaxing time. :) It was a fun day and my boys made me feel loved and appreciated. I am blessed!

He is my joy and my treasure!

Josh's First Race

Josh ran his first 5k on Saturday with some friends from RLG. He did a great job and I'm very proud of him! And he doesn't even like to run. :)

Lakeway Resort and Spa

Josh's Mom came to visit and gave us a night away. We went to Lakeway Resort and Spa and it was amazing! It is our new favorite place to go. They let us check in early, upgraded us to a lake view room without having to ask and complimentary and they had a free happy hour where they served wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres. The view was pretty and the pools were awesome. It was fun to have time just the two of us.

We went to a nice theatre where you can eat dinner and recline in a big comfy chair.

We went swimming at night in the heated infinity pool that overlooked the lake but didn't get any pictures of that. These are the view from our room. It was so peaceful to sit on the balcony and look at this!

Sam's Birthday

We had a fun night celebrating Sam at Bangers Sausage House and Beer Garden on Rainey Street. Sam and Laura are graduating from med school and moving to CA for their residency. :( They will be greatly missed!

It was also our 10 year dating anniversary so we had to get a picture. :)

Big Boy Bed

I asked a lot of my mom friends who have gone before me when they put their child in a bed and they all said leave them in the crib as long as possible. I saw Timmy on the video monitor try to climb out of his crib twice but both times when he got his legs over he looked down and got back in his crib. He is a cautious child so I knew he would never climb out. But he is tall and I could tell that he was too big and uncomfortable in the crib so it was time to make the switch. I was dreading it because he slept so well and I was worried that he wouldn't stay in his bed and stop sleeping as well but he did great! First night he went straight to sleep. First nap went straight to sleep. He never tried to get out. We were so proud! It has been over a week now and he is still doing great.

His older cousin had a firetruck bed so of course that is what he wanted. Thankfully we found one on Craigslist. I spent two hours cleaning it and then Josh put it together. You can tell from the pictures Timmy loves it!

Kissing him good night his first night in his big boy bed.

These are out of order. Trying out his new bed. He was SO excited.

I don't have a picture of his new sheets, blanket and pillow on his bed but these are them. You get the idea.

His last night in his crib. It made me sad. My "baby" is growing up. 4/28/13.

4-20-13

On April 20th we celebrated our ten year dating anniversary. It seems crazy that we have been together that long. I remember when we started dating I was hoping that Josh would be the man that God had for me to spend my life with and I think I'm even happier now than I was then that he is. I feel blessed beyond measure to be Josh's wife! So thankful for these past ten years and can't wait for many many more together. I love you Babe!

SAHM

I LOVE being a stay at home mom! I'm living my dream. :)
I had some random pictures on my phone of the fun things we get to do during our days together.
Timmy loves to help me cook and even more so bake. I pick something for us to bake together once a week. This was a lemon blueberry bundt cake that we made together.

Here is Timmy as a firefighter, construction worker, clown and chef all in one. :)

The weather has been perfect for park days.

I'm so thankful to Josh who works hard to provide for our family so that I can be home with Timmy. It hasn't come without sacrifice but to us it's totally worth it. God has blessed us with making my dream of staying home possible and I'm so grateful.

Happy Easter!

Finally found a way to get my thousands of pictures off my iPad to make room for new ones. Now I can get caught up on the blog. :)

Had fun dying eggs.

We made resurrection rolls.

Went to a helicopter egg drop. It was put on by a neighborhood church and it was free. Made for a fun afternoon.

Hot dog lunch.

My cute little bunny.

He looks scared but he really wasn't. It was super windy!

Easter Day

Timmy was playing play dough with Uncle Shawn and then went back for more food.

He is risen! He is risen indeed! Happy Easter!
