Christmas 2011

We were in CA for Christmas again this year. It is always a blessing to go visit our family. I wish we all lived in the same city! It would be so wonderful to have family close by and I hope that one day we will.

Christmas morning we went to Auntie Jen and Uncle Andy's house to open presents and have our yummy breakfast that we have every year. You were almost 1.5 this Christmas and enjoyed it a lot more this year. I look forward to when you will understand the real reason for the season. That the birth of Jesus, His life, and salvation is more precious than any other gift we could ever receive. Happy birthday Jesus! We love you!

Christmas morning

Uncle Jason gave you a donut and of course you loved it.

We bought you a vacuum because you really love vacuums. I think it was your favorite gift. :)

Great Grandma Lambert loves you!

Cousin Randy

Grammy and Papa

Then we went to Brentwood to spend Christmas afternoon with our Murphy side of the family.

Grandpa Murphy

You love guitars and you were so excited to get one from Auntie Sam and Uncle Chris.

Uncle Marcel bought you an Oakland Raiders shirt even though he knows you are a Cowboy fan. Silly Uncle Marcel. :)

Auntie Murphy playing a game with you.

Merry Christmas Timmy!

Thanksgiving 2011

If you are wondering why I'm just now posting about Thanksgiving read the post before. :)

This was a super special Thanksgiving because we got to spend it with the Lamb's in Oklahoma City. They were sweet and invited us to spend Thanksgiving with April's family since we don't have family here and because they love us. ;) It was so special to have time with Aunt April, Uncle Jon, and CG. All of April's family was so very nice to us and treated us like part of the family. It meant a lot to us that they were all ok with us being there and they even gave us our own room...so sweet! It was neat to see their family traditions and it made us want to start to do some of them in our family.

Carlotta made these cute turkey cut outs and hid them around the neighbors houses and had a turkey hunt. Once you found a turkey you had to yell out gobble gobble. Timmy loved the turkey hunt and it was so fun to see him look for all the turkeys. He even surprised us with saying gobble gobble. This is one of the traditions we want to start doing. :) Thank you Lamb's and Williams for having us and making us feel at home. We had a wonderful time!

I love this picture of my two favorite boys.

Aunt April blowing bubbles for Timmy.

We love the Lamb's as if they were our own family and we miss them so much!

They took us to see these beautiful lights. All the trees were decorated so pretty.

We couldn't go to Oklahoma and not visit Uncle Paul. We love you!

Timmy your Mommy and Daddy love each other so much and we love you!

Halloween 2011

I am a person that likes order and I like to be organized so it really bothers me that I didn't post about Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas. I had a good excuse because when I traded my laptop in for my iPad I wasn't able to blog because the app wouldn't work and then when it did work the pictures wouldn't work so as much as it bothers me I'm going to post about each of these holidays in March. :) The main reason I have a blog is for me to remember each stage of Timmy's life and for him to be able to look back at the book (that I will turn our blog into) and read and see pictures of his special little life.

For Halloween Daddy came up with the idea of you being a chef because you loved to carry a whisk around. I loved the idea because it was unique and so I went online and bought you the cutest chef costume. We went trick or treating with our good friends Ryan, Karie, and Emily Coffman and we all had a fun time!

You and your sweet friend Emily.

After going up to the first house and getting candy you quickly caught on to the whole trick or treating thing and took off running from house to house. :)

Your first lollypop.

Our family on Halloween 2011.

Giving Mommy a happy birthday kiss. I'm 28 and you are 16 months. :)

Earlier in the month we were in CA and went to a pumpkin patch with Auntie Jen, your cousins, and Papa. You called the pumpkins balls.

When we got home from CA we took you to get a pumpkin at a farm.
