11 Months Old!

You are eleven months old today. I can't believe that it was eleven months ago that you came into our lives. The time has gone by so fast and it makes me sad. I love watching you grow and learn new things, but it is really hard for me that your baby phase is almost over. I'm so thankful that I am able to stay home with you because if I had to work that time would have flown by even quicker. Being able to stay home with you is all that I have ever wanted. Your Daddy works hard to make that possible and we thank the Lord for blessing us with that ability.

This month you learned a lot of new words. Some of the sweetest words I have ever heard were when you said love you. You say la lu in the sweetest voice. You say boo for blue, Papa, pa for grandpa, dog, hello, duck, yeah, gentle, Paul, bible, more, and you recognized a ball on TV and told me about it. Your favorite words start with B...ball, balloon, and bubbles. You say na na for no no and tell us when you are doing something that you know you shouldn't be doing. You learned how to sit up from a laying position and started cruising along the furniture or along whatever you can. You learned how to sit up in your crib and two days later you learned how to stand up in your crib. When you don't want to sleep you stand up on the side of your crib and stare at the door waiting for us to come get you.

You are still taking three naps a day but we will be going down to two. You still have solids twice a day and have four bottles a day. We will be working on eating table food and drinking more out of a sippy cup. I have been hesitant to give you table food because you don't have many teeth and choke easily. You have three teeth on the bottom and your first top tooth is coming in. You are wearing 12-18 month clothes.

This month you were dedicated at church and Grandma and Grandpa Murphy flew in from California to be there for your special day. We had a fun visit with them and they got to be there to see your first time in the swimming pool. We took a road trip to Oklahoma to visit family. You got to meet your Uncle Paul, cousin Tricia, Sean, and Olivia. We had a fun time visiting with them and playing in the pool with them. This month your special friend CG Lamb was born. I can't wait for you to be able to play with her. The two of you will be great friends :)

I love you son! I treasure my time with you! You are one special little boy and bring more joy to mine and Daddy's life than words could say. We love you!

Getting ready to go swimming for the first time

You aren't buckled because we were getting you out of the car and you are only wearing your diaper because this was after we went swimming.

We went to the Domain to play in the fountains

You look so sad but I think you were tired. This is an early birthday present from Gramma, Grandpa, and Nana. We love your new highchair!

Happy 11 month birthday!
We love you Timothy!

A Special Moment

Our best friends here in Texas, Jon and April, just had their first baby. She came eight weeks early. It is a huge answer to prayer that little CG arrived safe and healthy. The original plan was for me to be there when she was born. Not in the delivery room but supporting them at the hospital while their families made the drive. CG came earlier than expected so that didn't happen, but I did get to see April a few hours after she delivered. April looked amazing! I'm so proud of her. I can't imagine what that experience must have been like for them. Thankfully everyone is doing well. CG needs to be in the NICU until she is strong enough to go home but she is doing more than great. She is breathing on her own. Jon and April let me go with them to meet her and it was a special moment I will treasure forever! She is the tiniest baby I have ever seen. She is precious, beautiful, and just perfect.

Little C I can't wait until you get to go home with your mommy and daddy. I look forward to when I can hold you! I have prayed for you before you were even in your mommy's tummy. I pray for you daily that God will continue to watch over you and help you grow strong. I love you!

She is so cute! I could look at her all day :)

We love the Lambs like family. We are so happy for them! If our friendship with them alone was the reason that God brought us to Texas than it was so worth it! To live so far away from all of our family has been so hard especially after having Timothy, but God has used the Lambs in so many ways to bless our family. They are a true gift from God and an answer to prayer. My heart is so sad that they will be moving. I do know that they will always be part of our life and have a special place in our hearts. I look forward to watching Timmy and CG grow up together even if it's over distance.

Congratulations Jon and April! You made one beautiful little girl. We are praying for your new family of three :)

Oklahoma

We went to Oklahoma last weekend to meet up with my cousin Tricia and her family. They live in MA but was in OK for a friends wedding. We also have a uncle that lives there so we got to surprise him too. It was the longest car ride we have taken so far with Timothy. We left Saturday night thinking that would be easier on Timmy but he actually did better on the drive home during the day. He slept most of the drive home probably because he was worn out.

Timothy got to meet his cousin Olivia. They are six weeks apart. They played so well together. I wished we lived closer because it was a lot of fun to see them interact with each other.

Josh and Uncle Paul

We surprised Uncle Paul. He got to meet Timothy and we had a wonderful visit with him.

My cousin Tricia and her daughter Olivia.

So happy to finally meet Tricia's family!

I love you Olivia!

Fun in the pool with the babies.

I love my family!

I took this picture over the seat. This is what Timmy did the six plus hour drive home. He played and slept. We were happy he did so well.

My First Mother's Day

Today was a special day! This morning we dedicated Timothy at church and Gramma and Grandpa Murphy were there with us. I got to pick where we went for lunch and I chose Mandola's. It was delicious! Then we came home and opened gifts. We took Timmy swimming for the first time and he loved it! My boys made me feel loved and appreciated. It's been a great day :)

It was nice to have my mother-in-law here to celebrate with. I'm very blessed to have a mom-in-law that loves me as if I were her own. She is a huge blessing in my life. I love and appreciate you Mom!

I was excited to take Timmy swimming for the first time.

He loves the water!

Other than my salvation, Josh and Timothy are the greatest gifts that I have ever been given. I can't imagine my life without my husband and son. I love them more than words could say. Thank you Lord for the many blessing you have given me!

Timothy's Baby Dedication

We dedicated Timothy today at church. Gramma and Grandpa Murphy flew in from California to be here for Timothy's special day. We dedicated Timothy to the Lord, that as his parents we are going to raise him to know Jesus and prayerfully one day he accepts Christ as his Savior.

Each family got to speak for about thirty seconds. Josh shared with the congregation that we named Timothy after his two grandfathers and that his name means honoring God and that is our prayer for his life. The verse we chose for Timothy is 1 Timothy 6:11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

I wasn't sure how Timmy would do because he woke up early and wanted to go down for a nap before we even left for church. Since he didn't get a nap he was a little grumpy up on stage but when he saw his Uncle Jon on stage with us he waived at him and seemed to be in a better mood. Grandpa took these pictures for us and Auntie April took a video.

The three of us wore matching converse :)

So special to have Gramma and Grandpa here with us!

Jon and April are part of our family. We love them very much! We are so sad that they will be moving but they will always be part of our life!

Timothy was dedicated with his good friend Asher. God has blessed us with wonderful friends!

Timmy's little girl friend Emily :) She was dedicated in the second service.

We love you Timothy James!
