6 Year Anniversary

On July 9th we celebrated 6 years together as husband and wife. I am so thankful that God made me Josh's wife. There is no other man that I would want to live my life with than him. He is a wonderful husband and father. He is sweet, loving, thoughtful, he makes me laugh, he is humble and most importantly he loves the Lord. I know I am blessed because he is mine. :)

When Josh picked me up from the airport after being in CA for three weeks he surprised me on the drive home by telling me that tomorrow he was taking me to Dallas for the night and arranged for someone to take care of Timmy. Actually it was two people, Gina and Ashley split the time. A huge thank you to both of them for being so sweet and willing to help with Timmy!

Despite not having my luggage (because American Airlines is lame) that had EVERYTHING I needed and wanted in it I was trying not to let it ruin our time away. Mine and Timmy's bags were in Dallas so since that was where we were headed I asked the agent to hold them there. After her assuring me they would not put our bags on the plane to Austin I get to DFW airport which is HUGE BTW and what do you know my bags are on a plane to Austin. SO. FRUSTRATING! Anyway it was a pain in the butt and I will never fly American again, but my bags were delivered two days later. Why did I just go into all of that? Because it took up a big chunk of our time away. :(

We got to the hotel and it was super nice and room was big! It was fun to just be together and relax. We had a lot of yummy food and great quality time. When we got home that night after putting Timmy to bed we watched our wedding video and it was so fun to remember our wedding day and how special it was.

On our wedding day Josh sang to me in front of all of our family and friends and it was and will always be one of the memories I treasure most from that amazing day. Come what may!

Our trip to Dallas.

Happy 6 year anniversary Babe! I love you! Here is to 100 more anniversaries together!

Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was super fun. Timmy and I went to Pacifica with all of my family (minus mom because she had to work) where you are allowed to shoot of fireworks yourself which made for a fun and crazy night. Josh was already back in TX for work so of course we wish he was there with us.

Playing with Papa.

Uncle Jason taking him for a walk.

I love my sister!

Fun night with some of my favorite people at my favorite place with my favorite kind of weather. :)

I am grateful and proud to live in America. Thank you to all who have fought for my freedom! Happy 4th!

Summer Lovin in Cali

We flew to California on my Mom's birthday and because I never get to see my Southern California family (my mom's side) Timmy and I flew there and my parents drove down. Josh's birthday was the day before so we were with him for his birthday then with my Mom for her birthday and with my Dad for Father's Day. It was really special for me to be with them on their special day especially since that hasn't happened in four years since living in Texas.

We stayed with my Tanta and Uncle Steve and they hosted a awesome BBQ for Father's Day/Mom's birthday and a lot of my family was there. It was wonderful to be with all of them again!

Uncle Fred playing with Hope and Timmy.

Happy birthday Mom! So glad I got to spend your special day with you. I love you!

Timmy loving on Uncle Fred.

Timmy had so much fun playing with his cousin Hope.

Uncle Steve reading to the kiddos.

I think the highlight of this trip for Timmy was going to visit Uncle Steve who is a Fireman and getting a tour of the station. He is still talking about it today.

Thank you Uncle Steve for the great tour!

The last time I was in Southern CA was almost two years ago for my Grandma's funeral. I wish that it was her we were visiting and not her grave. I so look forward to the day that Timmy gets to meet her. I miss you Grandma and I love you so very much!

Timmy tells Tulee (my mom's dog) she has pretty hair. :)

After our visit in So Cal we drove to San Jose and my mother-in-law (I don't even like using that word because she is my mom too but to keep from confusing my two mom's I will use it) drove to San Jose to pick us up and take us to Brentwood. The reason for our visit was for Josh's Grandma's 90th surprise party. Yes, 90! So we had some fun in Brentwood before all the family arrived for the party.

Timmy and his cousin Nathan enjoying a treat.

Grandpa is a huge Mini Cooper fan and he bought Timmy a small Mini Cooper toy and ever since then he has been a huge fan too. Maybe even more than Grandpa because I don't think Grandpa kisses his Mini good night. :)

Cousins <3

Party time! All of Josh's family from NY flew out to surprise Gram. She didn't even know we were coming. It was so fun surprising her and having all of the family together.

Here is Josh with his two sisters and his three cousins.

Josh with his sister Sam and sister Jenn.

The entire family! The only family member that couldn't make it was cousin Matt's wife Jeanne and of course she was missed.

I love that my family and Josh's family are close! They invited my parents and Grandma to come and it was fun having them there.

All of Timmy's cousins on Josh's side.

To surprise Gram we all walked in singing happy birthday. She was surprised to say the least!

Timmy's two Great Grandma's. I treasure these pictures and I am so thankful God gave us this opportunity!

Timmy with his two Grandma's and two Great Grandmas.

Timmy with all of his living grandparents and great grandparents. So special to have this!

Happy 90th birthday Gram! I am so thankful to have you in my life and I love you so very much! You are an amazing woman.

Timmy loves his Uncle Marcel. Uncle Marcel calls him Tim Tim so Timmy thinks that is his Uncle Marcel's name. He actually says I love Daddy, I love Tim Tim, I love Mommy". How is Uncle Marcel before Mommy? ;)

LOVE this picture of my family!

In 14 years this= trouble!

It is a blessing whenever we get to go home but that is usually where most almost all of Josh's PTO goes so we wanted/needed to take some time out for just the two of us. We took a day trip to stinson beach and it was beautiful! It was so nice to have time together just the two of us. I wish we could do that more often. Thank you to Gramma for taking care of Timmy for us!

My favorite person + my favorite place= happiness

The next day we got to have another date to celebrate on Gram's actual birthday with dinner.

Gramma was sweet and let us leave Timmy for the night so we could head back to San Jose and buy everything for Timmy's party. I know he had fun because when we were out to eat he ordered a chocolate milk (we have never given him that before) and when I asked him who gave him that he said Gramma. It was actually Grandpa. :)

After being in Brentwood we went back to San Jose to be with my family. We had Timmy's 2nd birthday party which I blogged about earlier and celebrated the 4th of July which I will blog about next. It is always fun to be with my family and always sad when I have to leave.

Timmy is only seven months younger than his cousin Ben but this is the first time they really played together and it was precious!

We met Auntie Karla half way for lunch so we could get one more visit in. We love you Auntie!

Poor Ben was sick and Timmy wanted to cuddle with him.

We went to Capitola, one of my favorite beaches, and because the weather said it would be 63 I didn't bring our suits. It turned out to be a warm day and we ended up in the water anyway. Timmy loves the ocean! He gets that from me. :)

One of my favorite pictures of Timmy was on this day at the beach but for some reason I can't get it off of my phone. I will put it in later.
