18 Months

You turned 18 months on December 28th. You got a bike from our friends the Hallams and it is your new favorite thing to do. Whenever you see the bike in the garage you say ride. You love to go for a ride. We put our Christmas tree up and did it in stages. You loved the lights on the tree and then when we decorated it with ornaments you loved it even more. One morning you picked one of my favorite ornaments off the tree and said pretty for the first time. It was a joyful moment to see you admiring our tree and to hear you excitedly say pretty. :) You are really talking well. We were at a playdate and Miss Karie was reading Brown Bear to all of you kiddos and you said goldfish. All of us moms were so surprised and proud to hear you say that. Whenever you hear an airplane you yell airplane, point up to the sky, and want daddy to hold you. It's like you feel closer to the airplane when daddy holds you because he is so tall. :)
On December 8th we flew to CA for Christmas. We were on the same flight as our good friends the Allhands. It was fun to fly with them and it was wonderful to have their help with all of our stuff! We stayed at Auntie Jen and Uncle Andy's house and you did great adjusting to CA time and to a new home. We went to Christmas in the Park with our whole family minus daddy becasue he was still in TX working. We went to cut down Auntie Jen's christmas tree. We went to the beach with Papa and Grammy, and had a lot of nice family time. Then we went to Sacramento to visit Auntie Karla, Uncle Shannon, and Mimi. They loved seeing you and you enjoyed it too. Then we went to Brentwood to see Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, Aunt Sam, and cousin Micah and Nathan. You boys play so well together. We had a nice relaxing time. Daddy flew in and then we went back to San Jose for Christmas and spent Christmas afternoon in Brentwood. Lots of traveling!
When we get back from our trip we will have your 18 month well check and then I will post your stats. You wear size 18 month pants and 24 month shirts. You are like your daddy in that your torso is longer. You still take two naps a day at 10am and 2pm. You don't nap long, they are usually 45 minutes to an hour long. We tried to go down to one nap a day but you aren't ready for that yet. You still go to bed at 7 and wake up at 7. We give you three cups of milk a day and you love your milk. You are starting to drink more water. Your favortie foods are bananas, apples, pancakes, man n cheese, and the only meat you like is ham. You are a busy boy and always on the go.
Happy 18 month birthday baby boy! You are my precious gift from God. My answer to prayer and one of my biggest and best blessings. Mommy loves you!

You are a big kid now! :) Asher's first birthday.

Asher is one of your best buds and we are so sad that they moved away. You ask for Sena and Asher all of the time.

You and Colton at the airport waiting for our flight. You guys are looking out the window at our plane.

Christmas in the Park.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures with my family. I just wish Daddy was there!

You with all of your boy cousins on the Lambert side.

We went to cut down Auntie Jen's Christmas tree.

We went over Aunt Susie's to celebrate cousin Dana's birthday. It was wonderful to see everyone!

You were trying to get into the dessert. :)

We went to the beach with Grammy and Papa.

Your new church outfit. Your face is so stinkin cute!

Wearing Daddy's old hat.

When Daddy flew to CA we went back to the beach with him and Papa.

Watching the Cowboys game at Papa and Grammy's house. You are giving Tulee some love.

You got your first haircut! Your hair is so curly but when it is wet it is super long and you needed a cut. You did great you didn't even care that she was cutting your hair.

This is my all time favorite picture of our Murphy family.

This was an awesome month full of family and lots and lots of fun!
