17 Months

You turned 17 months on November 28th. We started off this month getting settled back into our routine at home because we were traveling for almost an entire month. You had your second Halloween and your costume was a chef because you love to carry a whisk around and help mommy cook. We went trick or treating with your friend Emily. You would walk up to the door all by yourself. You and Emily had a lot of fun together. The next morning you woke up with a high fever of 105. We went to the Doctor and found out that you had hand, foot, and mouth disease. That night your enitre body broke out in blisters. It was awful! You were so uncomforatable and it made us so sad to see you in pain. It took a few days for your fever to go away and it took a couple of weeks for your blisters to scab and fall off. Your skin is still healing. We know you got sick from the YMCA so we cancelled our membership and no longer go there. We didn't want to risk you ever getting that sick again. You recovered just in time to go to Oklahoma City to have Thanksgiving with the Lambs and their family. We had a wonderful time! It was so fun to see Aunt April, Uncle Jon, and CG. Miss Carlotta had a lot of fun ideas and activities for us to do and you especially loved the turkey hunt. She hid different colored paper turkeys outside around the neighbors yard and you had to find them and when you did you were supposed to say gobble gobble. We were so proud of you for being able to say goble goble and you also said yellow and purple.

You like to play night night. You get your blankie and want to cuddle with mommy and daddy. You will lay your head down on us and we absolutely love it. You like to cuddle when you have your cup of milk too. You want us to hold you and you have to have your brown blankie while you drink your cup of milk. We will let you do this for as long as you want because you are so busy that anytime you want to be held is special for us! If we ask you to shake your booty you will dance and spin around in circles. If we ask you where something is you will do the hand motions for where and shrug your shoulders. You look so cute while doing it. You love to play hide and seek and where is Timmy. You go up and down the stairs really well. Daddy taught you how to go down the stairs by using your tummy. You can say please, thank you, go Sharks, shoes, and socks. If we ask you to go get something (like the remote) or to close the door you will do it. You love to read books, you love cars, trucks, and playing outside. If we say the word go you say shoes, bye bye, church. We must go to church a lot. :) Whenever you see a guitar you say Bible because at chruch they play the guitar and sing songs. Your favorite two songs are the B-I-B-L-E and Pat the Bible. I love that you are already learning about Jesus!

You are a sweet boy! You will give love whithout anyone asking you. You will lay your head on someone and that is your way of showing love. If someone is sad you are concerned and want to comfort them. You are a happy little boy and very friendly. You will talk to anyone. Your sweet and sensitive spirit is a blessing to us and you bring us so much joy! We love you Timmy and we are so proud of you!

Happy Halloween! The cutest chef I have ever seen. :)
