It's The Most Wonderful Time Of Year!

Christmas time is my favorite time of year! In our four years of living in Texas this was our first Christmas we stayed here. It was fun to be here for the parties that we normally would have missed being in CA and we got to start some traditions with just our little family. Here is how we spent my favorite time of year...

Gramma and Grandpa sent Timmy an advent calendar and he would ask for it every morning.

We took Timmy to a Christmas event in Georgetown. They closed down the downtown area and had lots of fun things for the kiddos and it was all free.

Timmy walked right up to Santa and said "I want to kiss you".

Santa let him kiss him on his cheek.

When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas he told him a tractor.

We shared some yummy kettlecorn.

Train ride and Timmy got the best spot where he could ring the bell.

This will for sure be one of our new traditions. It was so fun and loved that it was free.

Timmy loved our Christmas tree. He would play right next to it.

We went to the Round Rock family Christmas night.

Timmy is laying under the tree admiring the lights.

More goodies that Gramma and Grandpa mailed us.

We took Timmy to San Antonio to see the River Walk. It was so pretty all decorated.

Timmy loved the boat ride!

A little ice cream before we headed home.

Timmy has a little manger scene toy set and has been learning about the birth of Jesus. He said "I'm a shepherd".

Josh and I got to go to our friends wedding. Congratulations to Melissa and Scott!

My friend is beautiful inside and out!

We drove to Dallas to see all of the decorations at the Gaylord Texan Hotel. They had thousands of lights and decor and it was all so pretty.

We made a ginger bread house and cookies for Santa.

We didn't know it would take so long for the icing to dry so we had to finish it the next day.

Finished product, keep in mind a two year old made it. :)

We went to the Christmas Eve service at church and then that night we opened one gift (Christmas pajamas). I think another tradition we have taken on is getting tamales for Christmas Eve dinner.

Merry Christmas! Happy birthday Jesus!
